Chris Payne began his insurance career in 1981 with R.K. Carvill & Company, a Lloyd’s of London reinsurance intermediary specializing in treaty reinsurance for professional liability insurers in the United States. The company served the needs of many medical professional liability companies and was the largest independent intermediary for specialty business at Lloyd’s. Chris has worked as a consultant and board level advisor to both established and start-up professional liability companies, self-insurance funds and private corporations. He has specialized in captive insurance business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and reinsurance. He is an honors graduate of Kings College, London University.
